Andy joined Equitix in 2007 as Development Manager on the successful £80m Derbyshire BSF programme, and then went on to lead the bid team in winning and closing the £100m Cambridgeshire BSF programme as Project Director. Since then, Andy has concentrated on developing greenfield opportunities across the infrastructure environment, including utilities, transport, highways and social accommodation projects. Andy has over 30 years’ experience in Project and Bid Management in the built environment, with the last 20 years in the global PPP market specialising in the transport, utilities, healthcare, education & local authority sectors. Andy’s background is in construction project management alongside a career in strategic project development, starting his working life in the petrochemical sector before joining Carillion Construction for 10 years. Prior to joining Equitix, Andy worked as a Programme Manager for Skanska Infrastructure Development for 9 years delivering a number of acute PFI hospital projects including the £1.4bn Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital, the £375m Derby City General Hospital, the £300m Kings Mill Hospital, Nottinghamshire and as Bid Manager on the successful £150m Bristol BSF pathfinder scheme. Andy also has extensive international construction development experience in the Middle East and across Europe.
