Tom is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at EAM. Prior to founding EAM, Tom worked at Summit Partners for nearly 30 years, playing a central role in building Summit’s organization and its exceptional investment track record. In founding EAM, Tom sought to return to his roots of investing in founder-driven technology product and service companies. Equality represents his vision of offering investors a concentrated portfolio of high-growth “best ideas” in technology while providing founders and growth-oriented executives the exceptional level of support and partnership a small portfolio allows. Tom has assembled a team, handpicked from over three decades in private equity, to pursue this vision. Prior to Equality and Summit, Tom received an AB in Economics from Princeton University, magna cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
