Steven Richards joined EQT Partners in March 2019 as Finance Director for the EQT Real Estate Advisory Team based in London and has over 17 years of experience within the real estate industry. Prior to joining EQT Partners, Steven was Head of Finance at Nuveen Real Estate, a global real estate investment manager. At Nuveen he was responsible for all aspects of financial management including acquisitions and disposals, transaction structuring, debt financing, financial reporting and tax compliance. He was also responsible for the data management and analytics team. Earlier in his career, he worked at Arlington Securities, Capital & Regional and MWB. Steven holds a BA (Hons) in Business Management, Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Gloucestershire, the Investment Management Certificate and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
