Bio

Simon rejoined EQT Partners in 2020 as Head of Private Equity Asia Pacific. He previously spent seven years in Asia with EQT, initially in Hong Kong before moving to establish the Singapore office and EQT's Southeast Asia business. Simon also led EQT's first investment in Australia. Prior to EQT, Simon was the Managing Partner for Bain & Company's Nordic business. There he worked very closely with EQT for over ten years, advising on over thirty investments that EQT made in the Nordic region. Simon holds an MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD, and graduated in Russian and French from Oxford University.
