Jay Patel joined EQT Partners in January 2018 as Financial Controller of EQT Real Estate Advisory Team. He has over three years of experience of working in the real estate industry. Prior to joining EQT Partners, Mr. Patel was a senior associate at Europa Capital Partners LLP, a European value add fund manager. He was responsible for leading the Investment Finance team, with a focus on reporting, tax compliance, acquisition support, as well as UK investment tax structuring. Previously he was a senior auditor at BDO UK LLP, within the Real Estate and Construction team. Mr. Patel holds a BA in International Business, Finance & Economics, from the University of Manchester, M.Sc. in Finance, CFA level 1, and he is a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
