Bio

Helmut Geier joined EQT in July 2014 and became Head of Research in 2019. He has over 20 years of experience in business research within the tech and financial services industry. Prior to joining EQT, Helmut held a position as Head of Research at Capgemini Consulting for the DACH region. He started his career as research consultant 1997 at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and moved to Gemini Consulting in 2001 as a senior research manager responsible for the high tech and software practise. From 2008 until 2013 he was co-Head of Research and Analysis at Capgemini Consulting in Munich. Helmut holds a graduate degree in Economic Geography, Economics and Public Law from University of Regensburg, Germany.
