Daniel Sandground joined EQT in June 2021 as Tax Director of EQT Exeter in Europe. He has just under a decade of experience within the real estate industry. Prior to joining EQT Partners, Daniel was Tax Associate Director at Barings Asset Management, a global investment manager. At Barings he was responsible in all tax aspects of the various Real Estate funds and mandates across Europe, with a focus on tax structuring and related transactional tax workstreams, tax compliance and reporting as well as assisting with modelling from a tax perspective. Previously he was a Manager at KPMG UK, advising clients within the Real Estate tax team. Daniel holds a MSc in Enterprise, Environment and Place and a BA (Hons) in Geography, both from the University of Birmingham. He is also a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
