Sotiris has over 20 years of experience in banking, private equity and finance and accounting. He is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of EOS Capital Partners while he is also a member of the founding team. Prior to his current role, he was Chief Financial Officer-Investments Director of Attica Ventures S.A. since 2004, where he participated in 12 investments, 4 IPO’s , 4 full exits (IRR +16), 7 co-investments. Prior to this role, Sotiris spent 4 years of experience in business and financing as a corporate officer for Egnatia Bank. He also worked for 3 years as a financial manager and general manager in new economy and multimedia sectors. Sotiris served as an executive member of the BoD of various public institutions, asset management companies, public listed companies and venture backed enterprises (mastihashop, Doppler, Craft & Olympic Airways and Services – having an active role in the privatization process that ended in June 2009 – Transaction value: €170m). His deep experience and knowledge cover the field of start-up companies, IPOs, budget management and review, accounting, financing, credit and cost control, cash flow planning and control, due diligence and deal structuring. He holds a degree in Business Organization and Management from the Athens University of Business and Science and a MSc in Money, Banking & Finance from the University of Sheffield, UK (distinction).
