Evan Pittman is Managing Director of Research & Innovation at Energy Impact Partners (EIP). Since 2018, Evan oversees the firm’s efforts to support commercial adoption of the technologies in its portfolio among its industrial investor base. Evan has 15 years’ experience in strategy and go-to-market roles in the utility and clean energy sectors. Prior to joining EIP, Evan was Director of Strategy & Business Development for Comverge, an early pioneer of demand response technology acquired by Itron in 2017. There, he led efforts to bring new distributed energy management products to market. He began his career with The Brattle Group as a strategic and economic advisor to utilities and market operators. He holds an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA with Highest Honors in Economics & Mathematics from Emory University. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and children.
