Michael has been operating and investing in middle-market companies for over fifteen years. As COO/CFO, Michael brings a deep knowledge of the challenges facing management teams growing their businesses. Whether managing CRM implementations, re-organizing inefficient operating processes, or recruiting senior management members, Michael has been on the front lines of multiple operating businesses in multiple industries. As an investor, he has invested across the spectrum with entrepreneurs as early as Series A rounds through to 100% control buyouts for middle market businesses for a multi-billion dollar family owned holding company. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant who started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Birmingham, AL and New York, NY. He is a graduate of Tulane University with dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Management Information Systems and a master’s in business administration from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Business. He lives in Birmingham with his wife and two children. When not working, Michael enjoys a slow version of men’s league soccer and indoor climbing.
