Bio

Dr. Oliver Thum has over 18 years of experience working in the private equity industry with a focus on growth financing and leveraged buy-outs (LBO). Before Elvaston, he was a partner at General Atlantic, Düsseldorf and London as well as H2, Cologne and Amsterdam. Dr. Oliver Thum also worked at Bain & Company, San Francisco. Dr. Oliver Thum earned a doctorate in Engineering Economic Systems at Stanford University and has a degree in Economics from the University of Witten/Herdecke. He is active in numerous companies and serves, among others, on the administrative board of Schmolz + Bickenbach AG.
