Bio

Arshad is a co-founder and Managing Director of Elixir Capital. Prior to Elixir, he was a corporate partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in San Francisco. Since 1999 he has been in the private equity and venture capital world providing business and financial counseling. Early in his career, Arshad also served at the Washington, DC and Menlo Park, California offices of Latham & Watkins LLP, and before that in the New York and Singapore offices of Shearman & Sterling. Arshad enjoys teaching and he serves as adjunct professor at UC Berkeley, Vanderbilt, and UC Hastings, in private equity, venture capital, and Islamic finance. He earned his undergraduate degree in engineering.
