Melcher, Managing Director, has 29 years of experience in the energy industry, beginning as an investment banker for Simmons & Company International. In 1989, she joined the newly formed SCF Partners, a private equity fund focused on the oilfield service industry. In 1995, Ms. Melcher worked with Sandefer Capital Partners to develop the investment strategy for a $500 million private equity energy fund. In 1997, she founded Allegro Capital Management, Inc. to make private equity investments in the energy industry and to provide consulting services which included serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer for Petrocom Energy, Ltd. She joined EIV Capital in 2009 upon its formation to direct its investments programs. She serves as Audit Committee Chair and member of the Board of Directors of Hornbeck Offshore Services. She received her BS degree in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard University.
