Greg Davis serves as a Partner of EIV and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He is actively involved in firm strategy and is responsible for originating and stewarding investments across EIV’s areas of focus. Greg has 14 years of energy finance and investment experience including the upstream and midstream sectors. Greg most recently served as Investment Committee member and Managing Director at Kayne Anderson Energy Funds, where he contributed in all aspects of the business’ investment activities including portfolio company board participation and monitoring, investment sourcing and due diligence, and transaction structuring and execution. Prior to his 11-plus years at Kayne Anderson Energy Funds, Greg started his career at Credit Suisse’s investment banking Natural Resources Group, where he worked with current EIV Partner, David Finan. At Credit Suisse, Greg focused on mergers, acquisitions and capital market transactions. Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude. Greg is actively involved in the Houston community, currently serving on the board of The Center for Hearing and Speech.
