Bio

Mathijs is Investment Director and joined Egeria in April 2021. Mathijs involved in new investment opportunities and disinvestments. Before he started at Egeria, Mathijs worked at Walvis as a venture capital investor, with a focus on (growth) investments in Dutch software and IT companies. Prior to this, he worked as part of the alternative investment team of NN Investment Parters. Mathijs started his career at ABN AMRO Bank in the M&A and leveraged finance team, where he worked on a number of private equity transactions. Mathijs holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Groningen.
