Anthony has more than 25 years of investing experience in the public and private markets, including U.S Equities, international/emerging markets, seed level venture capital and real estate. Anthony has deep vertical expertise in traditional and digital media, internet/e-commerce, healthcare, hotel & gaming, consumer, and retail. As a Managing Director and Senior Analyst at TCW Group, Anthony conducted fundamental equity research on publicly traded securities across the entire range of market capitalizations and investment styles for investment offerings ranging from AUM $500 million to $20 billion. This included writing company specific recommendations and quarterly reports, building proprietary financial models, and presenting industry and sub-sector overviews while interfacing regularly with C-Suite management at portfolio companies. Anthony had responsibility for positions representing investments of up to $2.0 billion per security for companies such as Google, Pixar, Yahoo, Disney, Amazon, Comcast, Lionsgate, Expedia and Time Warner. Prior to his tenure at Trust Company of the West, Anthony held positions at Van Deventer & Hoch Investment Counsel, Merrill Lynch Real Estate, and Drexel Burnham Lambert. More recently, Anthony was the co-managing member for the Pasadena Angel PA Fund I, which provides venture capital to early stage start-ups. A Los Angeles native, he holds a B.A. from UCLA in Economics and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.
