Stuart joined Duke Street in 2015. He is a member of the investment committee. Stuart previously spent 19 years at 3i, the last 10 of which at partner level. He had a leading role in some of 3i's most successful ever deals, including ABX, SR Technics and Fonecta, as well as representing it on the board of some of its largest investments such as Foster + Partners and Asia Capital Reinsurance. Aside from a core focus on the UK mid-market he also led numerous deals in continental Europe and in emerging markets. Stuart’s principal sector expertise is in business services, in which space he has had direct transactional and portfolio experience in testing & inspection, transport & logistics, facilities management, consultancy and industrial services. Stuart has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
