During his career David has held senior leadership roles with three of the worlds most successful consumer goods companies: Whitbread, PepsiCo and Diageo. He played a key role in the transformation of Whitbread from a traditional UK brewer to a leisure retailer and he led the development and growth of both Pizza Hut and Burger King in Europe and the Middle East. David has been an independent Non-Executive Director for more than 20 years. He has chaired PLCs, Private Equity backed businesses as well as family and member owned organisations. At Duke Street he has worked with the team on origination and on subsequently chairing businesses such as: Sandpiper, Oasis, Simple, ToFS and Wagamama. He is chair of Natures Way Foods Ltd, a leading private label supplier of fresh products to key UK Retailers such as Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi and McDonalds. The business is family owned. He became Chair of the Board of the PGA European Tour in January 2014 where he has oversight of a reforming agenda in one of the world’s leading elite sports organisations. He has a BA(Hons) in Economics and an MSc from London Business School.
