Eric joined Duet in 2016 and is based in our Accra, Ghana office. Mr. Otoo monitors the daily performance of the DCWA companies and works with the portfolio management CEOs to develop and implement business plans. Eric joined from Diageo where, as Director of Route to Consumer & Strategy in the Ghana business for about three years, he transformed the route to market for Diageo products, restructuring the distribution and trade channels and opening new ones to double sales. Mr. Otoo’s expertise in route to market building at Diageo is crucial for driving value, particularly in consumer goods portfolio companies. Prior to Diageo, he was a consultant at McKinsey advising financial services and healthcare companies. Eric was born and raised in Ghana but schooled and worked in the USA where he attained an MBA from Harvard.
