Prior to moving to Deutsche Private Equity, Peter Zillekens worked for many years as Chief Financial Officer, most recently for his own fund start-up and previously as GP and Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Telekom Group’s investment division, Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners. At DTCP, he accompanied the development of the group from the late founding days to a global investment manager with more than USD 1 billion assets under management and advisory. Prior to joining DTCP, he was Chief Financial Officer of Fludicon, a German deep-tech start-up in the field of smart materials. There, he accompanied the development of the operative business and led several financing rounds as well as the exit to a Japanese conglomerate. Prior to this, Peter Zillekens worked for many years as an investor and investment banker at Macquarie Capital, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank, where he primarily led M&A and capital markets transactions in the German-speaking region. Peter Zillekens started his career more than 25 years ago in the M&A department of Morgan Grenfell. He holds an M.Sc. in management science from University College Dublin and the German degree of Diplom-Volkswirt.
