Bio

Prior to joining Deutsche Private Equity, Christian Kasten managed a technology start-up and worked in management consulting for six years. As CFO of Compact Power Motors, a developer and manufacturer of electric drivetrains for the automotive industry, he developed the commercial and supply chain departments until the successful exit to a strategic investor. During his time at Porsche Consulting, he advised businesses across many industry sectors in operational excellence and lean management. Christian started his professional career in sales network development at the German headquarters and the Spanish subsidiary of Daimler AG in Madrid. He studied business administration at the International School of General Management/Zeppelin University and holds an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan.
