Bio

Tom joined Downing at the beginning of 2011 and heads up our Product team, leading the development and management of new and existing investment products. Having previously been an Investment Director in our Development Capital team, he also has experience originating, transacting and managing investments across a number of our core sectors, including childcare, data centres, leisure, healthcare, property development and technology. Prior to joining Downing, Tom spent five years at Lloyds Banking Group. While at Lloyds, Tom worked in retail banking and corporate credit roles, before spending two years as an Associate Director in the bank's restructuring department, transacting debt for equity swaps on distressed businesses during the credit crunch. Tom has completed the Investment Management Certificate and has a law degree from Cardiff University.
