Bio

Martin is a Partner and Head of Portfolio Reporting at Downing. He has experience of sitting on boards of unquoted companies and understands the challenges faced by growing businesses. Martin has worked in private equity since 1996, when he joined 3i. He has also worked at Livingbridge EP and Lloyds Banking Group, where he managed a team undertaking debt for equity conversions for corporate clients during the financial crisis. Martin trained as an engineer and spent eight years with IBM in a variety of technical and commercial roles, before commencing his career in private equity.
