Bio

Mr. Binning co-founded Dominus Capital in 2008 and serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. Prior to co-founding Dominus Capital, Mr. Binning was a General Partner at Quad-C Management, Inc. for approximately eight years and was responsible for starting and managing its New York office as well as originating, executing, monitoring and monetizing middle market control investments. Before Quad-C, Mr. Binning was one of the founding Partners of Paribas Affaires Industrielles' (currently PAI Partners) North American private equity business, Paribas Principal Partners, where he was responsible for sponsoring and co-sponsoring control private equity investments and managing a portfolio of non-control investments. Prior to this role, he was a Managing Director with Paribas' Merchant Banking Group where Mr. Binning was responsible for the origination, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of agented middle market LBO loans. Before Paribas, Mr. Binning was a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche Management Consulting, where he focused on strategy consulting, defensive restructuring and transaction advisory services. Mr. Binning started his career as a Senior Project Engineer with Exxon Company. Mr. Binning received a B.S. degree, with Highest Distinction, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Binning is a recipient of the Distinguished Engineering Graduate Alumni Award from the University of Texas.
