Jens Biermann serves as Managing Partner of Deutsche Invest Mittelstand (DIM). In this role, Jens is heading the operational expert team within DIM and is responsible for the implementation of the value creation programs amongst the portfolio companies. He also serves as interim and restructuring CEO within selected portfolio companies and proactively manages the dedicated change management programs. Prior to DIM, Jens was heading the operations team of the Munich-based special situations investor, with an overall operational responsibility both as acting CEO, CRO and senior advisor for numerous portfolio companies across Germany for several years. Prior to that, Jens was a Partner of Hamburg-based Capcellence, a mid-cap private equity investor with more than €200M of assets under management. Before entering the private equity industry, Jens gathered additional professional experience with, amongst others, Ernst & Young and Beiersdorf. Jens studied business administration at the University of Lüneburg and completed a dual study traineeship with Beiersdorf in Hamburg.
