Assia joined Demeter Investment Managers in October 2022 within the infrastructure team. Assia has 15 years’ experience, including 10 years in the energy and environment sector within an industrial group. Assia started her career at Mazars group as a financial auditor. She then moved into M&A consulting where she advised for 3 years management boards on their buyside transactions (mainly LBOs scheme) as well as on fundraising in small and mid-cap operations. In 2012, Assia joined Altawest Group (owner of Leroux and Lotz Technologies, Jeumont Electric and Inova brands) to develop the “Project financing” department for supporting the group in its development, construction, and operation activities of power generation plants, mainly biomass, WtE and RDF. She was also involved in the execution of M&A transactions and performed several disposals, restructuring and portfolio rationalisation. Since 2018, Assia has held the position of Group CFO. Assia is a graduate from ESC Algiers and holds a master’s degree in “Financial Engineering” from IAE Gustave Eiffel (Paris)
