Adeline KEMPF joined Demeter as an Investment Director in the Venture team and will focus on the ‘Agtech’ and ‘Foodtech’ venture fund. Previously, she worked for 5 years as an Investment Manager in the Innovation team of Bpifrance in Paris. She has supported startups in the Parisian ecosystem in all areas of activity with a digital component, particularly in the fields of energy management and foodtech. She was also an expert advisor on life sciences related topics. With funding of over €25m per year, she followed high-growth startups at all stages of their development. Adeline graduated from AgroParistech and then from Neoma Business School in Management of Innovation in agribusiness and bio-industries. During her studies, she worked as a Research Engineer at the INRA (French National Institute for Agricultural Research) and as an R&D Engineer at Kemin Industries in Belgium.
