Mr. Gilmer, a principal of Deer Creek Group, is also a principal of three independent companies, Redstreak, LLC, techniques.org, Inc., and Alva Learning Systems, LLC. Redstreak leases a fleet of specialty railcars and provides logistics services to North American railroad customers. techniques.org develops custom training solutions for the Department of Defense and other Federal Government clients and Alva Learning Systems develops custom training solutions for private sector clients. Mr. Gilmer founded techniques.org in 1997 after achieving success managing large scale information systems development projects. Under his leadership, techniques.org has been profitable and grown steadily every year since inception. Mr. Gilmer has extensive experience using information technology to improve profitability for key accounts, including the U.S. Department of Defense, Walt Disney Company, the State of California Fire Fighting and Law Enforcement Divisions, Dow Chemicals, and GE Plastics. Mr. Gilmer is a member of the Project Management Institute, has held Top Secret clearance with the U.S. Department of Defense, and holds state certifications in responding to hazardous materials incidents. Mr. Gilmer is also an active outdoorsman, a former professional cyclist, and a fifth generation railroader.
