Chen is Datavest’s Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Financial Operating Partner. She oversees financial, regulatory and administrative operations of the firm. Additionally, she works with Datavest portfolio companies on financial reporting and strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Datavest, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Prospect Partners, a Chicago-based middle-market private equity firm. Prior to Prospect, she worked as M.B.A. Private Equity Associate at High Street Capital, where she was responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. Prior to High Street, she was a Senior Assurance Manager at RSM US LLP, where she led financial statement audits for private equity funds, venture capital, fund of funds and business development companies. Chen is a CPA, received her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and her M.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
