Denis is responsible for the oversight of portfolio companies in Fund II, origination and analysis of investment opportunities and execution of deals for Fund II and other funds under the management of Da Vinci Capital. He primarily focuses on such sectors as financial technology and information technology. Prior to joining Da Vinci Capital, Denis worked at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in the financial institutions sector and was affiliated with the firm’s Global Financial Institutions Center. He was deeply involved in several projects in banking, insurance and asset management. Denis currently serves as the board member at ITI Capital (ex. ITinvest), the member of the Expert Counsel on legislative support for the development of financial technologies in Russia under the State Duma Committee for the Financial Market, and is also an investor and mentor of several early stage technology companies. He graduated with MA in Economics and obtained the PhD in International Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
