Bio

Richard Lee is a dedicated problem-solver who likes to measure twice and cut once. Organized, detailed, and thoughtful, he enjoys building processes and organizing data for the benefit of Cynosure and its investment partners. Richard joined The Cynosure Group in 2016 and is proud to have built the finance department from one person to a team of six that oversees the finance processes and procedures that have allowed Cynosure to scale. His prior experience includes working at a regional CPA firm where he specialized in tax planning and compliance for lower-middle-market businesses and their owners. He received a B.A. in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Utah State University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah. The youngest of six children and a father to five, Richard’s greatest professional satisfaction comes from collaborating in a team setting with his talented colleagues.
