Liz Smoose is a Managing Director at Cynosure Wealth Advisors, where she specializes in overseeing financial plans for ultra-high net worth clients. With a wealth of experience in senior positions at SVB Private and Goldman Sachs, Liz has a deep expertise in tax and estate planning, and is passionate about delivering a specialized, quantitative approach to wealth management. Liz takes a strategic perspective to wealth management, applying an endowment model approach that provides clients with balance sheets approaching and exceeding $50 to $100 million with the benefits of both a CIO and CFO. Her expertise in anticipating risks in a quickly changing tax landscape ensures that clients' financial issues are closely monitored and that resources are coordinated and organized to achieve their goals. With a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Liz is licensed to practice law by the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations.
