David Hunter manages the investor relations efforts for Cynosure. Dave’s professional pursuit matches his personality, as he enjoys identifying investment solutions, networking and is a natural connector. Dave is motivated by building relationships and aligning investors with attractive investment opportunities. He is skilled at distilling complex financial concepts into understandable terms, which comes in handy when he brings investors opportunities that he authentically believes in. Prior to joining The Cynosure Group, Dave spent 11 years with Partners Group in the New York and San Francisco offices, where he was instrumental in building strategic investor relationships and sourcing investments. As a consultant with Connecticut-based Evaluation Associates, he advised institutional clientele on investment policy development, asset allocation, manager search and selection, and performance and attribution analysis. While working as an investment advisor at Bear Stearns, he advised high-net-worth families and institutions alike. He graduated from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management with his MBA and B.A. in Finance while also playing on the baseball team. Dave is also a passionate athlete, outdoorsman, and family man. If you don’t find him in a meeting with an investor, you’ll likely see him cycling up Emigration Canyon, skiing in the Cottonwood Canyons, or boating with his family at a nearby reservoir.
