Andrew Braithwaite’s creativity, flexibility, and interest in problem-solving put him right in line with Cynosure’s collaborative and aligned approach to investing. Andrew came to The Cynosure Group from the Carlyle Group, where he evaluated and managed investments across two private equity funds, as well as meeting many of his future Cynosure partners. Prior to that, Andrew was an investment banker with Barclays Capital, working in its Financial Institutions Group with a focus on mergers and acquisitions along with capital markets transactions. He graduated summa cum laude from Merrimack College, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration—Finance and Economics. An avid hockey fan who played for many years in western Canada, Andrew has learned to exercise his powers of perseverance to realize his personal and professional drive for collaborative business-building and all the benefits that can bring to others.
