Ekta Tolani leads capital raising and portfolio management efforts at Crown Capital. She also provides strategic planning and business development support to management teams across the Crown portfolio. Prior to Crown, Ekta served as one of the few women Chief Investment Officers at a large family office in the Middle East and has managed a well-diversified multi-asset class portfolio during her tenure. Her experience ranges from setting up new business verticals to managing the portfolio of operating companies and from identifying unicorns at an early stage to closing multi-million dollar private equity deals. Ekta holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is an ardent champion for Women in Business and sits on various alums and women’s interest boards.
