Bio

As a managing director of Crossplane Capital, Greg is responsible for sourcing and closing transactions with significant cash and profitability improvement opportunities and overseeing the entire lifecycle of investments. Prior to joining Crossplane Capital, Greg was a principal with Prophet Equity, a middle-market private equity firm. During his five years at Prophet Equity, Greg was responsible for sourcing and managing strategically strong investment opportunities in complex situations, including corporate carve-outs, financial restructurings, and operational turnarounds. He executed value creation plans alongside management teams at portfolio companies including Total Plastics, Derby Fabricating, Hatch Stamping Company and FDF Energy Services. Prior to Prophet Equity, Greg was an associate with Energy Capital Partners, a North American-focused energy infrastructure private equity firm, where he focused on making control investments in the power, midstream and energy-related service and manufacturing industries. Greg began his career as an analyst in the Power & Renewables Investment Banking Group at Credit Suisse in New York where he was involved in a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions in the power, utility, renewable energy and project finance sectors. Greg graduated cum laude with an AB in Economics from Harvard University. Born in Tallahassee, Greg grew up surrounded by 4 sisters and no brothers. After following his college sweetheart to Dallas, Greg successfully married up and is now the very proud father of two young boys. As a result, his current activities mostly involve dinosaurs and/or robots, but he is also an avid fisherman and an adult literacy program volunteer. Greg takes no prisoners in family board games.
