Eric Boyd is a Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager responsible for leading the Value-Add and Opportunity Fund business for CrossHarbor Capital Partners LLC. In addition to his senior management responsibilities with the firm, Mr. Boyd is responsible for originating and structuring both equity and debt investment opportunities for the firm’s various commercial real estate investment funds. Mr. Boyd joined CrossHarbor in 2006 as a Senior Associate based in the firm’s Boston office. After more than eight years in Boston, Mr. Boyd relocated to Southern California in 2014 and opened the firm’s office in Newport Beach, where he currently resides. With more than 15 years of transactional experience at CrossHarbor, Mr. Boyd has executed in excess of $2.5 billion of new investment transactions across the United States within ten sectors of the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Boyd’s investment acumen includes the structuring of joint venture equity, preferred equity, mezzanine debt, and high-leverage structured debt transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Boyd was an Associate in the Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking Group of Banc of America Securities LLC based in San Francisco, California. Mr. Boyd began his career as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of J.P. Morgan Securities in New York City. Mr. Boyd received a Bachelor of Science Degree, with honors, in Accounting and a Minor in Business Law from Bentley University. As a youth, Mr. Boyd obtained the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.
