Monica is responsible for executing merger and acquisition transactions at CriticalPoint Capital. Monica brings over 12 years of experience in financial due diligence, project management and public accountancy across a breadth of industries. Prior to joining CriticalPoint Capital, Monica worked in Deloitte’s Merger and Acquisition Advisory practice. Monica has participated in all phases of the transaction life cycle. She led due diligence teams that advised the firm’s most significant private equity and strategic corporate clients on a wide variety of operational and financial due diligence issues related to transactions. Her deal experience covered a variety of transaction environments including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures in the US and cross-border. In addition to her client service role, she supported Deloitte’s Global M&A leader in drafting and communicating global strategic initiatives and drove long-term strategic innovation planning. Monica worked closely with Deloitte’s client Leadership Development Program assisting newly appointing senior finance executives with developing 180-day strategic plans and supporting their transition into their new roles. Monica is a native Spanish speaker. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the USC Leventhal School of Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She is a Certified Public Accountant and registered Project Management Professional.
