Michael Aingorn joined Crestline in 2019 and focuses on our Liquid Credit and Opportunistic Strategies. Prior to joining Crestline, Mr. Aingorn was a Partner at American Industrial Partners (“AIP”) where he was responsible for the firm’s capital markets activities. Prior to AIP, Mr. Aingorn was a Portfolio Manager at BTG Pactual US Asset Management, where he was built and managed a portfolio of par, stressed and distressed credit opportunities in the US and Western Europe. Prior to BTG, Mr. Aingorn was a Senior Vice President at Plainfield Asset Management, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing liquid and private special situation investments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Aingorn worked at Lehman Brothers and Wellspring Capital Management. Mr. Aingorn has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
