Mr. Shaffiq Rahim founded Creekbridge Capital Partners in 2016 and serves as its Managing Partner. Mr. Rahim specializes in investments in Aerospace & Defense (A&D), Automotive, General Industrials, Specialty Manufacturing, Technology, Telecommunications, and Healthcare sectors. Prior to founding Creekbridge Capital, he served as a Co-Founder and Managing Director of SR Capital Partners, LLC. Creekbridge Capital is the successor to SR Capital Partners, where Mr. Rahim and his investment partners successfully acquired lower middle-market manufacturing companies from 2009 to 2013. SR Capital Partners successfully exited all of its investments and closed the firm due to valuations increasing beyond levels where the company felt comfortable. Over the past three years, Mr. Rahim has been working closely with privately-held manufacturing companies in operating roles to build long-term value and lead the companies through a successful sale process to realize the maximum value based on high M&A activity among strategic buyers. Prior to this, Mr. Rahim was a Member of the Leveraged Finance group and Investment Officer at Barclays Capital, in New York working closely with Financial Sponsors. During his time at Barclays Capital, he covered several industries, including media and entertainment, industrials and transportation, technology and telecommunications, and paper and packaging. Mr. Rahim’s experience focuses on leveraged transactions, including leveraged buyouts (LBOs), management buyouts (MBOs), recapitalizations, spinoffs, and debt financing for non-investment grade corporates. His corporate experience includes a Business Development role for Boeing’s Defense business unit, based in Anaheim, CA. In this role, Mr. Rahim was responsible for meeting with key Defense agency personnel from the United States and Foreign Governments to sell Boeing’s capabilities through long-term development contracts. Prior to Boeing, he served as a Business Analyst for several software/technology companies based in the Orange County, CA area. He received an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester (Simon) in Rochester, NY. Mr. Rahim graduated with an M.S. and a B.S. degree in Computer Sciences from the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA.
