Bio

In his role, Daniel leads the work in the Investment Science group in partnership with investment departments across the Fund to find transformational ways of generating alpha (returns above the market benchmark). Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Daniel was Chief Architect and Chief of Staff of EQT, where he led the work on Motherbrain, a data and machine learning platform used to source private markets deals. Earlier he worked as a technical director for a mobile game studio at King, the company behind Candy Crush. Daniel’s deep experience in innovation includes roles as a software engineer and technical lead. Daniel attended the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, where he studied Engineering Physics.
