Bio

David has spent the last 12 years working with, and investing in, growth businesses across the consumer, technology, and services markets. Prior to co-founding Cove Hill, David spent 7 years at Thomas H. Lee Partners, helping to lead investments across verticals. His experience included sourcing new investments, serving on the board of directors for HighTower and System One, and actively supporting the firm’s portfolio companies across the following sectors: financial technology, vertical software, consumer internet, payments, payroll processing, retail banking, digital mortgage, IT services, wealth management, and technical staffing. In addition, David was responsible for leading the Associate training program. Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, David was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. He also worked at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a global hedge fund. When David is not in the office, he enjoys adventures with his wife, daughter, and Yellow Lab (Loon). He is an avid skier, fly fisher, golfer, hockey player, and (long suffering) Minnesota sports fan.
