Bio

Mr. Chung is primarily responsible for investment sourcing, evaluating potential acquisitions, valuation and the implementation of the CORE Operating Playbook. He has over twenty-two years of leading global strategic development, growth management, product innovation and operating excellence in industrial and transportation sectors. He has worked for some of the world’s leading industrial manufacturing companies including Danaher (NYSE: DHR) and Emerson Electric (NYSE: EMR). For the last thirteen years, Mr. Chung served as CEO/President of a number of high growth electronics and technology businesses with revenues ranging from $35M to $350M— all private equity backed or divisions of large publicly traded corporations. He was also the Chief Strategy Officer of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), overseeing corporate strategy, M&A and operation management. Mr. Chung possesses extensive investment experience, participating in the acquisition of various family-owned businesses, startups, corporate carve-out, and private equity or venture capital backed businesses of various sizes. Mr. Chung has also worked on several corporate divestitures. Outside of the office, Chung currently serves on the board of Littelfuse (NASDAQ: LFUS) and Mastercraft (NASDAQ: MCFT), the advisory board of the Corkrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, and the advisory board of the Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Chung previously served on the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and the board of visitors of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Chung holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, an MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
