Will has spent his career investing in lower middle market companies in the media, entertainment, communications and related business services sectors, and has a passion for partnering with management teams to build leading businesses. Prior to founding Coral Tree Partners, Will was a partner with LA-based private equity firm Shamrock Capital, where he worked for 22 years, sourcing, leading, and driving transformational investments. Previously, Will has served on the boards of numerous companies across the media entertainment and communications sectors including Ad Results Media, Silvergate Media, Questex Holdings, Giant Creative, MarketCast, Learfield Communications, Mojiva, K2 Towers, Media Storm, TeleGuam Holdings, and PRN. Will began his career at Smith Barney where he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Will graduated from Dartmouth College and earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management as a Venture Fellow. Will has been involved in a number of non-profit organizations and he currently serves on the board of trustees of the Los Angeles-based Orthopedic Institute for Children Foundation. Will is also a former board member of the US Lacrosse Foundation, an organization that operates in support of US Lacrosse, the sport’s national governing body, and the L.A. chapter of The Positive Coaching Alliance, an organization focused on developing “Better Athletes, Better People” by working to provide a positive youth sports experience.
