Prior to joining Cohere Capital, Reid was an Associate at Guidepost Growth Equity where he focused on private equity investments in high-growth, entrepreneur-owned companies in the technology and tech-enabled services sectors. Prior to joining Guidepost, Reid was on the Corporate Development team at CVS Health. In addition to spearheading the $70 billion acquisition of Aetna, his group served as the focal point for all potential transactions, including M&A opportunities, JV partnerships, and venture investments. Earlier in his career, Reid was a Senior Analyst at Canaccord Genuity where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions in the industrial technology and clean technology sectors. Reid received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics cum laude from Middlebury College.
