Toni Franco, a Vice President in our Operations group, brings to CoBe Capital more than 15 years of professional experience from a variety of industries, where he has supported enterprises in developing and implementing continuous improvement and lean business solutions. Mr. Franco resides in Barcelona, supporting new acquisitions and assisting in the operations of CoBe Capital’s European portfolio companies. Prior to CoBe Capital, Mr. Franco spent 9 years at Houghton International, a leading multinational metalworking company, serving in several leadership regional roles in EMEA and Asia. He most recently managed the EMEA operations for the company´s Fluid Management Unit across its major customers in mainly automotive and aerospace industries. He also led multiple global efforts, from M&A integration in EMEA (Shell Metalworking BU acquisition) and India (integrating production into Gulf Oil`s Plant) to regional footprint optimization and global operational excellence efforts. Previously, Mr. Franco spent time in the automotive industry (Aluminum stamping) and gained international experience at an electronics Start-Up (Fractus), where he localized its operations in Asia enhancing its global presence and competitiveness. Mr. Franco received his BCh in Mechanical Engineering and MSc in Industrial Organizational Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain. He also obtained a MS in Supply Chain and Technology at La Salle Bonanova Business School in Barcelona. Mr. Franco is fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English, and conversational in French.
