Bio

Robert Thamm has been General Counsel at CMP since 2014. He is corporate legal counsel, holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Law and Management from the University of St. Gallen, a Master of Laws from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. from the Humboldt University of Berlin. In addition, Robert is licensed to practice law in Germany and the State of New York. Before joining CMP, he worked for Hengeler Mueller in Berlin and Munich. At CMP, Robert is responsible for all legal matters, including the legal drafting and documentation of acquisitions and sales, providing legal support for portfolio companies, and coordination with external legal advisers. His main areas of expertise are M&A and corporate law.
