Bio

Jan Dettbarn is a Partner with CMP and joined the firm in 2016. After studying business and economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and Stockholm University, Jan began his career at CMP in 2001. In 2005, he moved to Zentis AG and also spent ten years at Alvarez & Marsal, most recently as a Partner. Jan has more than 17 years’ experience in consulting and private equity. He has extensive expertise in the acquisition and sale of companies, in managing / facilitating the management of national and international SMEs, and in consulting on restructuring projects. Jan has in-depth experience across a wide range of sectors, with particular emphasis on the automotive supply chain, the cable and telecommunications industry, and tourism.
