Bio

Caroline is a Managing Director at Closed Loop Partners. In this role, she co-leads the growth equity investment practice which includes circular solutions for fashion, material innovation, supply chain technology, food & agriculture. Caroline has spent over two decades in the fashion industry. Prior to joining CLP, she was CEO of Donna Karan International (DKI) and DKNY, for LVMH. Caroline also served as President of Carolina Herrera, a luxury fashion house headquartered in New York and available in over 100 countries. She was CEO of Akris, Inc., the Swiss based luxury brand and began her career at Giorgio Armani with over a decade in leadership roles of Marketing & Communications. Caroline is an advisor for the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship at MIT Sloan School of Management, a member of the Board of Trustees for Choate Rosemary Hall and a member of the Women’s Forum of New York. She has served in the past as a member of the CFDA VOGUE Fashion Fund business advisory committee and as a mentor to emerging US designers. Caroline also serves on several circular economy company boards between the US and EU including For Days, Dimpora, The Renewal Workshop, DAI and Retrievr as well as an Independent Director position for Eileen Fisher. Caroline is a born and raised New Yorker with Argentine heritage.
