Boaz works on the Closed Loop Ventures Group investment team to support sourcing, diligence, and portfolio development for Israeli companies. Boaz received an MBA from Tel Aviv University in 2006, a LLB in law magna cum laude from the Israeli College of Management, and is a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2001. Boaz identifies and evaluates potential investment opportunities, and post investment, working with the management team of the portfolio companies to help them achieve their full potential and increase value. Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners in November of 2019, Boaz served as a Managing Partner of Sharpe Alpha Capital, Fund of Funds. In this role, Boaz was responsible for managing a global hedged portfolio of more than 25 underlying funds selected by using a proprietary algorithm and comprehensive operational due diligence, qualitative research and risk analysis. Prior to this, Boaz was a Managing Partner at SAI Ltd, a family office and advisory firm focusing on alternative investments including investments in Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Venture Capital and Real Estate. During this time period, Boaz also served as a Managing Director of an algorithmic trading company, BSD Software Development Ltd. Formerly, Boaz also served as a Director and Member of the Audit Committee of a public biotech company, XTL Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. as a Director and Member of the Investment Committee of a public investment company, Isal Amlat Investment Ltd. which was engaged in the fields of industry, commerce, real estate and advanced technological services and as Attorney with the law firm S. Horowitz & Co., one of Israel’s leading law firms.
